Root Chakra or Mooladhara chakra as the name comprises has two significant parts Mula meaning “root” and Adhara, means “support” or “base.” Generally, this chakra gets it balance or imbalance in the childhood.
You may ask how?
The reason is simple if you received love from your parents and all your needs were met in the childhood, then you feel safe and secure. Once you get this love and warmth, then your chakra gets the necessary heat quote which is similar to the warmth of motherly love. If you do not get this love then the heat sheet of the mooladhar becomes active because of the constant fear you face. A child may look fearful and may cry often has got his/her sheet affected so this adds to the imbalance further.
Generally, Mooladhar chakra is not balanced without conscious effort. The imbalance is quite common these days, as almost each of us has faced some kind of fear and thanks to technology even parents are now becoming cranky and offensive.
It is commonly felt that imbalance in chakra can be seen if you experience any of the following:
· Insecurity
· Lack of clarity
· Sexual dysfunction
· Anger
· Compulsive behavior
· Eating disorder
An imbalance at root chakra can only be healed if you get that feeling of safety and security, the security can only come if you repeat one affirmation “I am safe and secure. I trust life. Life supports me in all my thoughts. I feel the love and warmth of mother earth.”
This simple affirmation can create the miracle for you and can help in restoring health to the chakra.
