Material Joys and Spiritual Joys

Happiness is not dependent on external circumstances; rather, it is to be found in the simpler joys of life, and most of all in the ever new bliss of deep meditation....
Be happy by clinging to the simple, true, and lasting soul-joys. They come by deep thinking, introspection, spiritual inspiration, and meditation.
                        ............................. Paramhansa Yogananda
Yoga has been an inspiration to many people, but very few today attain the actual goal of yoga. People may call them yogi’s, spiritual masters, self-help teachers or sometimes ‘the enlightened ones’. But they are just real people with the same body of 5 elements purified by the tapas and the light outside is coming from within.
‘As within, so without’ and so could be learned from the great teacher “Paramhansa Yogananda”. In the quote above you can find the universal wisdom and the gateway open to the everlasting joy. The term happiness has been always the baseline for all the material pursuits. In the American doctrine or the constitution or preamble, whatever it is, it has been written “in the pursuit of happiness”, so when we all are running around to find happiness, and that associated with the material pleasure has lead to the creation of low-quality life.
It can be easily understood from the quote above that “happiness can never be found in the materials as the everlasting joy comes from within”.  I could make out that life always has a tendency to draw us closer to the energy we emit. If we emit the energy of lack we attract lack, if we create the energy of joy we attract joy. So how can we attract joy, when we are dealing with the imbalance of the chakras on our lower level, the Mooladhar chakra, the Swadhisthan chakra and the Manipura chakra.
People who often suffer from anxiety and stress, on their very introduction with the path of yoga and they start working with the higher chakras like Ajna chakra and Sahasrara chakra, but the actual spiritual joy can only be felt or experienced if you try to connect and bring to balance the Mooladhar chakra.
So to experience the joy work with the Ajana but work with the Mooladhara and Swadhisthana.
