Swadisthan is the seat of the "self" or the "soul", filled with the desire of breaking the limits and reaching to the highest of the human potential, Swadisthan chakra has been know as the center for giving and receiving pleasure.
Sex feeling and development of the sexual urge take place at a very young age of 6, understanding and receiving awareness about the same is difficult. Talking about Sex is considered bad in India, but doing Sex is the most important thing. Most marriages are done to have freedom of Sex, especially in India.
The sexual restraint is asked to be done until the age of marriage and the thought of the same is prohibited before marriage, although thanks to the romantic cinema mostly movies provoke the sexual desire, leading to the early onset of the menstrual cycle in women and the same is applicable to men except they don't bleed.
Well doing sex is not bad, but the healthy flow of sexual knowledge is important so that the concept of sex does not lead to the imbalance of the chakra.
In India you will find women with wide hips, just beating African women, you may think of the reason and yes you got the answer right!!
Its the imbalance of chakra that is created, in almost all the women. Women of modern India are although speaking about the same, but in the past women were not allowed to express such emotions publically.
There is also one more concept to this, that women are mostly coming from the middle-class background and cannot think of having a physical relationship because of the famous "ghar ki izzat batiya" mindset. Although, no where in the scripture is it written but even today most women lie dead during the sexual activities as the concept sometimes appear new or alienated.
Or, the famous issue of men leading the life, so men leading the sexual life. In one of the lectures of OSHO, it was well said that most men & women in India are not taught the art of giving and receiving pleasure, so again the confusion arises, and so there is no union of energy among the two.
This leads to creation of imbalance slowly, a part of this is done before marriage when the learning is not passed properly from a manual like "Kamasutra" and partly after, as they do not have anything to talk about, believing it to be a part of the process, mostly end up doing Sex as a leisure activity not reaching to the goal of this union, which is again feeling complete, or achieving Brahma.
So thanks to the loss of knowledge we find Swadisthan imbalance high among the individuals.
